This award recognizes years of excellence in the sailing community through participation in racing, and with DRYA.
Michael does a great job in promoting races and events here in Anchor Bay (ABYRA) as well as for the rest of the lake, participates in many races, sponsoring, supporting and helping anyway he can.

AYC is a sailboat racing club. We sail in Anchor Bay on northern Lake St. Clair. In association with the Anchor Bay Yacht-Racing Association (ABYRA), we manage our Tuesday Night Twilight Race Series, and also sponsor several Invitational races.
